We are thrilled to have the support of European Foods for Eat Drink Blog 4 in Perth this year, who have come on board to provide a breath taking array of delicious foods in the style of a  continental lunch as well as refreshments for delegates.  European Foods are masters of the cheese table, and with a hefty selection of the worlds best cheese on their menu, as well as hams and charcuterie and accoutrement, the delegates will be grazing in style come November 9th.

European Foods are also kindly sponsoring the stage at the Perth City Farm so that our speakers can be seen and heard even if the delegates can’t stop eating during a session…

Situated in the heart of Northbridge in the city, European Foods are proudly W.A. family owned and operated – importing, manufacturing and distributing specialty foods, beverages, liquor and catering equipment from Europe and around the world to the retail and hospitality industries in Australia.

They carry thousands of products, which are constantly updated to keep abreast of the food industry’s ever-changing palate.

European Foods opened The Re Store in 1936 which was Perth’s first retailer of continental foods in and is still the go to place in Perth for Italian deli goods and fresh made to order rolls. It has been the centre of Perth’s Italian community for over 60 years and also offers a huge range of imported wines, liqueurs and grappa.

We thank European Foods for feeding delegates and making sure we have a stage, AV, projector and all the bells and whistles to run the stage for the conference at Eat Drink Blog.

Here’s a small selection of some of the amazing work European Foods do at their functions to whet your appetites.

This year the committee has organised three different half-day food and drink activities for Sunday 10 November. The activities will be for groups of 30-35 people, providing delegates the opportunity to engage with a local business/industry and learn a thing or two.

Delegates will get a choice to participate in one of the activities.

When delegates have their registration confirmed, a separate email will be sent out to select a Sunday activity.

We are excited to reveal that the second activity delegates will get to choose from is a mushroom farm tour and hands on cooking challenge thanks to Australian Mushroom Growers.

Australian Mushroom Growers are hosting a rare opportunity for bloggers to indulge their senses and inspire creative talent with mushrooms.

Have you ever wondered what makes mushrooms so special and how growers produce this fascinating and versatile ingredient all year round?

Here is your chance to discover how it is done.  The magic of mushrooms will come alive as you tour Crown Mushrooms in Wanneroo in the morning, followed by a hands on team challenge to prepare a mushroom feast for lunch in the training kitchen facilities in the neighbouring West Coast Institute of Training.

This promises to be a fascinating and delicious culinary adventure.

Thanks to Australian Mushroom Growers for coming on board and sponsoring a Sunday activity for Eat Drink Blog 4!

There is one more Sunday activity to be announced.

We have already announced a Mastering French Pastries with Emmanuel Mollois.

Stay tuned…
